Here at the East Side Society we welcome feedback on local issues. We also offer everyone a longer say than a tweet or a quick posting.

Anyone is able to comment on community issues on the Eastside website, but the Society asks you to use only language you’d be comfortable using in front of a cherished family member, like your abuela.

 All facts should be easily checkable via non-aligned sources like, but not restricted, to Wikipedia, the Associated Press or respected local news outlets.   The Society will check and moderate all submissions before they are posted. The Society reserves the right to edit any article which does not meet the Abuela Tests and will post comments at least two days after they are submitted.
