National Clean-Up Day
National Clean-Up Day is our local activity where we work with a variety of volunteers to beautify the Eastside by cleaning up the streets and sidewalks. This worthy cause gives the community a chance to participate in beautifying the Eastside corridor. Please save this date and help our community sparkle!
OCTOBER
Trick or Treat on Milpas Celebration
Another fun happening is the Trick or Treat on Milpas Celebration. This SBES sponsored event is very popular with the children, and last year we had over 500 kids in costume visiting the local businesses and trick or treating for candy. Participating businesses can be identified by the colorful balloons hanging in their doorways.
DECEMBER
Milpas Holiday Parade
The Holiday on Milpas Parade is an event not to be missed. Flashy bands, old cars, dignitaries, dancing elves and good old Santa Clause makes for a fun and exciting evening. The SBES organizes, sponsors, and directs the parade using many volunteers and businesses to make this parade a success.
